What am I forgetting?

Goodness. I do remember all of these things from planning my own wedding. I also remember breaking down four days before it because of one little bitty thing I'd forgotten that jeopardised the whole day. Of course it all went off without a hitch in the end. Seems so long ago now and yet it was only two years...now we are thinking of doing it all again by renewing our vows for our fifth year anniversary.

Have the most wonderful day. I'm sure you will. It is all very exciting.

Thank you so much. I refuse to let itty bitty things bug me. I have sworn to be relaxed and let be what will be. It's the big things I'm terrified of. I can't imagine wanting to do it all again in 5 years.

Out of curiosity, what did you forget?

I do promise to get back to you about that website - my brain has been in a bit of a muddle in the last couple of days. I do apologize.

With a wedding in the works I think that takes priority here.

What did I forget? To get a copy of my birth certificate from the registrar. You can't get married here without one and with four days to go the woman at Births Deaths and Marriages told me that it would take at least six working days as it had to be sent from another state. I had a total melt down before convincing my celebrant to accept a faxed copy from BD&M.

On the day the entire eastern seaboard was engulfed in a gale and it rained and rained and rained - and we were getting married in a garden. My bridesmaids were shivering, my guests were soaked and I couldn't stop laughing hysterically (I would have cried if I didn't laugh). My husband wants to do it all again because he wants me to have my "dream wedding"

Don't you love these horror stories? The fact is, I enjoyed my day, rain and all.

I'm going to work on the site today. We've got rain and I don't want to go anywhere, so I'll procrastinate with that!

Oh my gosh, that piece of paper would send me 'round the bend! I don't know what I'd do. I'm so glad it worked out for you! That just reminds me to pack all of that kid of stuff, just in case!

Rain! Oh no! No tent, no nothing? Oh, you DO deserve to do it right this time. I'm so glad you were laughing, though. Again, I think that would crack me.

Photographer? And curious, what are the fish for? Your going to look so beautiful, woot!

photographer is settled. "Great Uncle Al" with his poleroid will NOT be responsible for commemorating the day.

The fish will go in the vases for the tables. Plant or flowers on top, little fish in the bottom. Should be really pretty. *Note: I need a fishtank when we get home, lmao*

Thank you so much!
