still not a graphic artist

kissa_bitesI've been spending recent evenings watching NCIS on DVD and getting the aforementioned brochure done, logos done, and a button done.
I failed on all. The logos are unattractive - but sent. The brochure... wow. Got it done, realized it was in the wrong color split - it's in RGB not CMYK (ditto the button) and in the wrong resolution. Must fix, can't print. When I opened it again to get a good look at it - it miraculously turned from full color to grayscale. GRAYSCALE! The button did it, too. *sighs*
*screams* So, not only am I WAY not a graphic artist, I am a failure as a slap-dash-and-pray artist.God, please don't make me pay someone for this.All I want is some art, some text and an f'ing logo on some semi-decent paper, folded. It's taking me DAYS on this.
I will, however, go on. I believe in the learning curve. Mine is just steeper than other people's.
I WILL master this. I CAN do this.
Then I'm going to finish the masks sitting on my bar waiting for rhinestones.
