Wheeeeee fun times! This whole website adventure is really taking shape, with some wonderful people playing with us and a lot more interesting stuff to come! We have AMAZING artists, truely TALENTED authors, GREAT friends and the BEST admins anywhere!
It IS all looking up! We WILL have a bigger crowd. We WILL have bigger chats. We WILL have more work uploaded. We WILL have more readers! It's already happening! We're in that small gasp of air before a child's delighted chortle of glee and excitement.

Sep. 29th, 2008 10:26 amI'm just exhausted. I spent two and a half days, from dawn to .... dawn,actually, working on getting The Masque and the WIKTT Archives scrubbed down and dusted out as much as possible. ChrisMcC, the poor man, still has a honeydo list as long as my arm.
Tapestry writing didn't happen. My deadline is flying by as we speak. I'm really going to try to make the internets go away this afternoon and tomorrow so I can produce SOMETHING for my chapter deadline. It'll be skimpy, but something. Sadly, the Voldemort/Nagini or Jasmine/Sirius sex is just not going to get written this time. It's a downer, too, because i was really looking forward to writing the V/N again. It's such a damned interesting thing to write - and oddly enough, I think I manage to do it pretty well. Oh well, the next chapter will be smut-filled.
I spent a lot of the time this weekend chasing down Marquise's artwork, with her permission. It's available, if you have patience and aren't afraid to beg people. A few have been really, really nice about sending it, especially Pearle who had a LOT. I found even more on some crazy Russian and German websites and even on YouTube. Marquise herself was also really nice about sending me to a few places where I could pick more up but, sadly, she doesn't have the computer files anymore. I loaded about 1/4 of what I had and more will be going up over the week. If you happen to have any stored, please send it over!
Also getting artwork from Lisa Rourke, because I asked. I'll get that up this week, too. A gentleman named Bill Tarantino loaded OMG 20 pictures into the TM gallery - all nifty drawings of rope bondage. Of course, I have to move them all to the proper spot, but they are, indeed there and really neato.
I set up a new LJ for announcements and the like for TM and TWA. After the fact, I realized that I should have made it a comm, but since I don't know how to do that, I didn't bother to go back and figure it out. themasque . I popped a lot of our old news in, but only the semi-important stuff that one might find interesting. I'll go on a friending spree in a week or so, if I can manage. I SO hate doing things like that, I get in a tizzy and end up not doing it. The whole, "hi, would you please give a damn about something only vaguely concerning you," thing makes me feel rather dirty *wrinkles nose*.
I also renewed our advertisments with AFF and made a few more banners. I'm such a bonehead, the first one that I made for TWA was 1.97 MB! No wonder it was pretty! i must say that Jaxxy, the owner of AFF and I are getting to be buddies in email. She's a riot and really, really nice. I can only imagine her stress and busy-ness level as compared to mine. It's totally worth our while to have the ads on AFF. We get a lot of people coming over from there.

Figured out that a solution to many of my issues is finding a volunteer to be an Announcement Fairy for TM and TWA. It's just a short gig a couple times a week for someone to yip at the chat hosts about chat and game scheduals, nip through the newest work posted on both sites in archive and gallery then post the lot once or twice a week in our several announce places. In reality, it shouldnt' be more than an hour a week. I would do it but... when on earth would I do it? Anyone want to be the Announcement Fairy?
Diet Coke is good. Caffine is my friend.
