So... just for the sake of saying it, say that one loves fantasy art. Say, in fact, that one thinks that Brian Froud is a mad genius. Say that one found a site that is offering a Froud original. A fairy - something one really loves, also. Say, just in hypothosis, that said fairy is $3500. Say, again, that one could do that. (we are living in a fantasy land, after all)

Now, say one's husband *batting my eyelashes at him prettily* might flip out and spank one (in the bad way, mind.)

How logical is the argument and promise that if one could buy the Froud and call it an investment - and SWEAR that one will sell it in 10 years for a profit, that that would go over well?
