I just spent 20 minutes reading Garfield Minus Garfield and am now full of existential angst.
For those who may not know it, the author-approved strip is the same Garfield comic strip that you read in the paper, except that all traces of the animals, Garfield and Odie, have been removed. This leaves Jon Arbuckle facing his life in a way that is so familiar to me.

today's mystery

This is right outside my office door, flopping into the driveway. It wasn't there yesterday. Something exciting must have happened here last night, though there is nothing at all of note about the building or parking lot that would indicate what.
