oh, look, a real witter

So, I've been mysteriously absent from just about everything recently, except on twitter (as is embarrassingly obvious) I've been distracted in the last two weeks by the series that we'll just call Gloaming and leave it at that, as not to start any kind of "I hate it/I love it/OMFGCEDRIC" moments. It isn't high art. It isn't low art. Hell, it ain't art at all, but it is absolutely crack when you add the books to the movie prett-ay. If you want to squee, bring it on. If you want to bitch, well, I have a lot of stuff to agree with you there, too. But its crack, I tell you. Crack! Crack like Johanna Lindsey. Even more, HE's crack. Dane is just mortified by it. So am I, actually. I swear that it will wear off soon. It must.

I cranked out a few Six Word Stories, along the lines of Hemmingway's "Baby shoes for sale, never worn." The writing of which, I enjoyed greatly. I have a few more to pop to the sixwordstories comm and #sixwordstory but am in no hurry. There is certainly a challenge of coming up with a real story in only six words that isn't "Now I know; I never mattered" which seems to be the general thread of the comm.

Dane is still jobless, the blonde is turning 12 next week (and this really says everything, for those who have been there) and I work in an industry that has just laid down for a long winter nap - until February. *yawn*

I'm reading, I'm writing, I'm not doing arithmetic. I'm hanging on Twitter, generally, and making snarky comments with some awesome romance writers. Feel free to join me. Romance writers and lovely Potter People - we gots 'em.
