Just when I getting discouraged about the women in lit as a group, with a few glaring exceptions, one woman, one sweet, lovly woman, did something kind and turned me upside down. Perhaps it was a whim, perhaps it was less an a minute of her life, perhaps it was a tossaway kindness that would be tossed away for anyone - but she's sent me off to bed with a smile - when wearing one today has been difficult. Thank you, lovely lady. Thank you very much for reminding me about the really nice women I know and how they can't be overshadowed for long by the crummy ones of the bunch. Thank you for showing me another side of you - I knew it was there, but you have proven it, in your minute of kindness. Thank you for the time and the effort and the energy it took to be kind. Thank you for being lovely.
