Because I was hammered on all fronts:

25 Things

1. I wear three rings on my ring finger – wedding, engagement and a guard because my other two rings are too big.

2. I take daily medication because I don’t have a thyroid gland – if I miss a day, I’m a scatterbrained raving bitch.

3. I’m a diet coke addict but am switching to caffeine free since regular has been putting me to sleep.

4. I only take mask commissions now – I don’t have the energy to blast out unpaid-for creativity in clay and feathers.

5. I only have one of my original orchids. The rest died off in a thrip attack two years ago. Now I spray every time I water. It’s the one time that I say “Screw the environment.”

6. I’m generally a rabid recycler – unless I’m cleaning out the fridge.

7. My typing speed/accuracy has gone down by 40 wpm in 5 years because of arthritis.

8. I’m no longer Christian, much less Catholic. This will shock many.

9. I have a steamer trunk at the end of my bed amusingly called “The Trunk of Sin”. There is no room left in it.

10. I’m a terrible driver but love my car. I’m on my 3rd Saturn. This one is named Tess and can fit two greyhounds, one bird, two cats, the blonde, and Daddy.

11. I am a comma whore and depend on Laurie (Caught/Willow’s Promise), Deb (mamma), and Elizabeth(Acciopadfoot) to smite them. I envy their patience, tolerance, and fortitude.

12. I let my passport expire.

13. I’m going on my first me-only vacation this summer to a Harry Potter con in San Francisco. I will be dressing up as Millicent Bulstrode. I expect to be very quiet and do a lot of watching – with a glass of wine in my hand as much as possible.

14. Whatever it is, I’d always rather be curled up with a romance novel and a bowl of cheese popcorn.

15. My brain is shared by Deb and Laurie. They generally know the answer to any question that will be posed to me and can answer accordingly and they generally know what I’m thinking. Each one has and could impersonate me online and no one would ever know. I’m lucky they don’t conspire together. I think.

16. TheMasque and all of her sections represents most of my being, personality, and thought processes – and how I think about the site at any given moment is usually reflected in what I think about me.

17. I’m usually always online, but I’m rarely visible.

18. I have chronic allergies and have lost most of my sense of smell since moving to the forest.

19. White cake with vanilla cream frosting and decorative roses is my favorite.

20. Large groups of people intimidate me unless I flick a mental switch – which is tough.

21. Every year, I get vilely ill right around my birthday.

22. I love working in real estate.

23. I get seriously upset if my sleep is disturbed anytime two hours before I have to wake up. Any alarm but the radio will ruin my day. Beeping alarms upset me. I don’t wake up to music, I wake up to the DJ’s voices.

24. I have no patience for fools, con artists, or people who kick their dogs.

25. I’ve been writing the same novel since 2002. All main writing will be finished by my next birthday.
