going in my mouth

Today is the first day of a new da... uh... eating path. I am being forced to have two morning meals by my little parasi... baby boy, thus, at one, I'll be eating fruit and OJ, which I just don't like, darn it, and at the other, I'll be having cereal/milk. For lunches either a sandwich or salad. Dinners, which I'm not in charge of, should be red meat-less. Dane and I chatted this morning while he was finishing up his morning walk (I really am very proud of him for taking control of his health like this!)
I've actually been losing weight with this pregnancy, which dr doesn't mind at all. Next checkup on 9.3 so we'll see if I've been able to keep it under control.
Last night's dinner was tikka masala (yummmmy) and beans... less yummy but dutifully eaten.
Thus, today, I have started with an apple. While this may not seem impressive, I really am not a fruit fan, so it's taking me awhile to get it down *grins* I am eating it, though, so I don't get in trouble.
At midmorning - Hungry:00, I brought cereal and milk.
Tonight is the "get on your bike and ride" night - which isn't as impressive as it sounds, lol. Dr. won't let me on a real bike (thank God) so the stationary recumbent in the basement will do perfectly as I watch Matlock.
Did I mentioned the 12th was my 4th anniversary? Some of you remember the wedding even, lol. We've grown so much in the last 4 years. I think we're doing pretty well now, despite all of the challenges. We spent the evening at home - he made a lovely ribeye, creamed spinich (hush, it's yummy) and pilaf dinner and generally just hung out the way we always do. He did bring me some roses to the office, which was lovely - and well thought out since we don't have AC... he wanted them to last so brought them to the palace of cool air. It was nice - very low-key, which is very us, lol.
I've finished rereading Tapestry am have actually picked up a pen again. After 8 years writing, I'm in a great place to write again and am determined to finish it, if only to shut Severus up.

I am SO lying.
*hugs you*

Date: 2010-08-24 08:22 pm (UTC)Rumour has it that eating large breakfasts... (with lots of protein, all your starches and even desserts) and then eating protein with veggies and fruit for lunch... and then... at dinner... eating as little as your doctor will allow... skipping starches and just eating fruit and veggies...
...will help your metabolism even out, based on which hormones are produced by your body in the cicadian cycle.
Which sounds a lot like what you are doing now... so it must work!!
Must try it. Er, but I don't think I'll get pregnant first!
Happy anniversary!
