How does a Master become a Master? Training? Automatically? And does the Master tell the slave in which type slave she will be?

On Gor, a Master becomes such by being Free. He is automatically addressed as Master by any and every slave. Online, a Master becomes one the second he declares himself Gorean. He really ought to go through training, though, so he’s clueful. On Gor, of course, boys are trained through their childhood how to manly men. And yes, the Master tells the slave what she is to do.

so the silks they wear tell which caste they are in? ...am i getting this correct? lol
